In this tutorial i will show you how to check the running version or release in centos redhat fedora linux.

STEP 1:
Open terminal in the centos and type cat /etc/redhat-release as shown in the image below and hit Enter.
STEP 2:
It will shows the current version of linux running on that machine as shown in image below.
