In this tutorial i will show how to shutdown windows xp machine in command prompt step by step.
STEP 1
Click "Start" button and click "RUN" as shown in the image below.
STEP 2 :
Type "cmd" in the Run box and press enter key as shown in image below.
STEP 3 :
The windows command prompt will open.Type shutdown /s in command window and press enter as shown in the image below.
STEP 4 :
The sytem will display the message box with timer running for 30 seconds and it will automatically shutdown after 30 seconds.please refer the below image.
